You will need Employer Liability Insurance before you consider hiring an apprentice. Once hired you will then need produce a contract of employment stating rate of pay, hours, terms and conditions etc.

Many employers do increase rat of pay after 3 – 6 months as as a probational period. Once the apprentice has completed 12 months of their qualification, they must be paid the national minimum wage for their age.

Yes, employers are required to pay apprentices on apprenticeship training days. As apprenticeships are now completed in the workplace, they do not require the learner to take time away from the workplace.

Once we have a good selection of CVs we forward the candidates information straight to you. From here you decide who you would like to see, then we will arrange the interview and ensure that they are well prepared.

After the interviews have finished but you feel that none of the candidates were right, 360 apprenticeships will continue to look until the right apprentice comes your way. If you are unsure or would like to see how they would fit into your business, you can offer the candidate to come in for a trial; this can be from 1 day to 1 week depending on your availability.

Once you have your successful candidate we will then advise and select the most suitable premier graded training providers, who will then train your apprentice in the chosen sector. When we have partnered the apprentice with the right training provider, they will guide them through the apprenticeship until completion. They will also be there for you to answer any questions and offer advice regarding the apprentices training. Yet through the course of the apprenticeship we will still be available to offer support and advise as best we can.
